Welcome to Lugatna (“we,” “our,” or “us”). We operate the Lugatna mobile application (the “App”) and our websites lugatna.com and app.lugatna.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Arabic dialect learning App.

Account Data
To use Lugatna, you must create an account. We collect your information when you sign up via Email and Password, or Google Sign-In (which provides your email, name, and profile picture URL).
We use this data strictly to manage your account, secure your profile, and sync your progress across devices.
Learning Progress & Features
To provide a personalized learning experience, we track and store:
– Your Daily Streak and daily-usage statistics.
– Your Stored Quizzes and custom vocabulary lists.
– AI Chat inputs: Text entered into the AI chat is processed strictly to generate responses for dialect practice.
Notifications
We may use your device token to send you push notifications to remind you to practice and maintain your daily streak. You can turn these off at any time in your device settings.
Permissions & Device Data
Microphone and Audio Data
Our app requests microphone access (RECORD_AUDIO) for speech-to-text quiz practicing.
On-Device Processing: All speech recognition and audio processing are done entirely locally on your device.
No Collection: We do not collect, record, transmit, or store your audio files or voice data on our servers.
Analytics & Crash Reporting
We use basic analytical and tracking tools to monitor app performance, crash logs, and daily usage habits. This helps us fix bugs and improve the app’s features.
Account and Data Deletion
You have full control over your data. You can delete your account and all associated personal data (including email, progress, history, and custom lists) at any time.
In-App
Go to App Settings → Delete Account.

Third-Party Services & Future Changes
Current Status
Lugatna is currently a 100% free app. We do not share, sell, or rent your personal data to any third parties.
Future Monetization
In the future, we may introduce advertisements, premium tiers, or in-app purchases. If we do:
